THEY CALL THIS A “BIO”
Hi! I’m Pete and I’m Australian writer/director currently based in Los Angeles.
I used to be a creative director at ad agencies. Lots of the things I worked on won awards but I’m not going to list them because I find that type of thing a bit awkward.
I played in a rock band once too. This was back in the early 2000’s before social media. We had a song on Guitar Hero, which might be a top 5 life achievement.
As a director I’ve made a bunch of funny commercials for credit cards, department stores, beers, spirits, sugary drinks, non-sugary drinks, phones, cable providers, search engines, cars, apps, music labels, fertilizer, milk, razors, universities, banks, health insurers, bands, late night talk shows, and even sex toys. I don’t discriminate which is probably why it’s an impressive list.
Recently I wrote and directed a short film that did shockingly well at festivals and I have a handful of other fun narrative projects in the works.
But enough about me let’s talk about you!
